Today, at a meeting of the Duma commission, sports facilities in Kirov were discussed. In particular, the conversation focused on the renovation of the ski roller track belonging to sports school No. 3. It is worth noting that earlier the authorities reported that in 2026, 12.2 million rubles would be allocated for this purpose, in 2027 - 12.9 million rubles, and in 2028 - 14.6 million rubles.
As it became known, a competition is planned to be launched by the beginning of May to find a contractor. The results will be summarized in mid-May, after which a contract will be signed with the winner. To date, preparatory work has been carried out. The authorities have already met with the contractor who plans to apply for the competition.
It was also mentioned at the meeting that work on the sports ground in Gagarin Park will be completed in May. After that, it will be officially opened to all interested parties.
The deputies instructed the Kirov administration to analyze the city's need for new sports facilities. After that, the authorities will try to attract federal funds.
