In 2026, they plan to relocate 32 emergency houses in Kirov.

      Today, at the meeting of the Duma commission, the demolition of relocated emergency houses in Kirov was discussed. As reported by the city management department, it was planned to demolish 23 houses in 2025, but in fact, 37 houses were demolished, including due to cost savings. For 2026, it was planned to demolish five houses. To date, contracts have been signed for the demolition of 20 houses, six have already been demolished, and another five will be demolished by the end of May. Six contracts for demolition will be signed in the near future, and due to savings from them, the authorities will sign two more contracts.

      In addition, a mechanism for comprehensive development of territories is being implemented. Thus, an agreement was reached with one of the developers to demolish four houses. Therefore, in 2026, 32 houses will be demolished in Kirov. For 2027, 48 will remain, and they will be included in the plan (not counting the houses that will be recognized as subject to demolition in the future).

      It was also mentioned at the meeting that while carrying out this work, the authorities face a number of difficulties, such as relocating utilities outside the territory and resettling people who do not wish to move. Legal action has to be taken against the latter.
