Kirovstat published the results of housing construction in the Kirov region for the year 2025. A total of 599.2 thousand square meters of housing was commissioned. Of these, 237.3 thousand "squares" (4,660 apartments) were built by developer organizations — this is almost 13% more than in 2024. Another 362 thousand square meters (3,269 individual houses) were constructed by the population at their own expense or with the involvement of loans. The share of private housing construction in the total volume was 60.4%. Traditionally, the most housing was commissioned in Kirov — 308.7 thousand square meters (51.5% of the regional figure), which is 7.1% higher than the level of 2024. Also among the leaders are the Slobodsky (111.3 thousand sq. m) and Kirovo-Chepetsky (62.9 thousand sq. m) districts. Housing commissioning was recorded in almost all municipalities, except for the Bogorodsky and Opalinsky districts. The most noticeable growth (more than twice) was noted in the Nemsky, Sanchursky, and Uninsky districts. At the same time, at the end of 2025, 122 apartment buildings with a total area of 622.6 thousand square meters were under construction — this is 2.6 times more than what developer organizations commissioned for the entire year.
