In the Kirov region, water continues to rise.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of the morning of April 14, the water level in the region's rivers has risen from 2 to 28 centimeters over the past day. At the same time, a gradual decline is observed in small rivers.
The water level in the Vyatka River near Kirov reached 379 centimeters above the zero mark, increasing by 8 centimeters over the day. As a result, 45 residential areas in the Sanchursky, Kilmizsky, and Arbazhsky districts, as well as in Kirov, have been flooded.
Operational groups and rescuers are on duty in the flooded areas, providing necessary assistance to residents. Authorities note that the life support of the population has not been disrupted, and evacuation is not required.
The situation is under control, and temporary accommodation points have been prepared in case of worsening conditions.
