During a meeting in the government, the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, reported on the redistribution of federal funds allocated for infrastructure development. As a result, the Kirov region received more than 58 million rubles for the major repairs of schools. Previously, it had planned to allocate this amount from its own budget. Since it will no longer need to allocate these funds, it was decided to redirect the money to other purposes. According to Sokolov, 58 million rubles from the regional budget will be directed towards the repair of 15 educational institutions, including two for orphans. They will also be used to improve infrastructure for children's recreation and health, that is, children's camps. In addition, the region will allocate another 21 million rubles for the camps.
