The man paid off his child support debt to avoid losing his driver's license.
A 48-year-old resident of the Vyatskopolyansky district, who is the father of two minor children, has accumulated a debt of over 130,000 rubles in alimony. As a result, the bailiffs restricted his driving rights until the debt is paid off. However, the man still got behind the wheel, ignoring their decision.
At one point, the debtor's car was stopped by the traffic police. They immediately found out that a restriction had been imposed on him and threatened him with administrative responsibility — from mandatory work for up to 50 hours to the revocation of his driving rights for up to a year. Scared of these consequences, the man paid off his alimony debt the same day, reported the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Kirov region.
