During the meeting, the activists of the "Young Guard" presented their projects, covering a wide range of areas. One of the most significant is support for youth and veterans, assistance to animal shelters, and participation in humanitarian missions in liberated territories.
One of the initiatives proposed by the activists was to hold a community cleanup day at the "Poroshino" Sports and Tourism Complex. Acting head of the Kirov regional branch of the "Young Guard," Grigory Konovalov, appealed to Oleg Valenchuk to support this event.
"Our team has been developing the 'Poroshino' Sports and Tourism Complex for over 20 years. Today, in this beloved recreation spot for the residents of Kirov, all conditions have been created for walks, sports activities, and various events. Here, everyone can recharge with the energy of nature and find an activity they enjoy. Thank you for such a wonderful initiative! I will gladly support this initiative; we will provide volunteers with the necessary equipment, and I will personally join this event. I am sure that the residents of Kirov will be grateful for the cleanliness on the Health Trail," assured the parliamentarian.
Another initiative was the proposal to establish a "Memory Garden" in the Youth Park in Chistyye Prudy. This neighborhood is home to many young families with children, and planting apple trees will not only be a tribute to those who died during the Great Patriotic War but will also help awaken interest in family history and strengthen connections between people of different generations. Oleg Valenchuk promised that the Union of Gardeners would provide seedlings for this important mission.
The deputy also invited the kids to Moscow for a tour of the State Duma building to see for themselves how the main legislative body in the country operates.
Oleg Valenchuk emphasized that involving youth in public affairs is a key aspect of forming civic responsibility and patriotic consciousness. He noted that it is young people who can bring fresh ideas and energy to the economy and public life of their homeland, which, in turn, positively affects the development of the region.
