Earlier, the Kirov Department of Urban Development announced the search for a contractor to carry out landscaping work at the memorial complex "Alley of Glory" in the regional center. For this purpose, 83.4 million rubles were allocated from the city budget. Three applications were submitted for the competition. The winning firm (its name is not yet known) proposed to complete the work for 75 million rubles. Thus, the authorities managed to save 8.34 million rubles.
The work must be completed from the date of contract signing until August 31, 2026. Early completion of the work is possible. The warranty period will be 48 months.
According to the state procurement portal, the contractor will need to create a new surface for the area, install video surveillance, lighting, plant trees, shrubs, and annual flowers, and place small architectural forms, trash bins, and benches. The documentation also states that a memorial dedicated to the participants of the Special Military Operation (SVO) is planned to be created in the alley. It will consist of a Wall of Remembrance, a sculpture of a soldier, and other elements.
