A Kirov resident stabbed his cohabitant.

      According to the UMD and the regional investigative committee, information about the crime was reported to the police, after which a patrol service unit was dispatched to the scene. A 51-year-old local resident, previously convicted for making threats to kill, was detained on suspicion of committing murder.

      According to the investigation, on the evening of April 8, the man, while in a state of alcohol intoxication, was drinking alcohol with his 58-year-old partner. A conflict arose between them due to personal animosity, during which he stabbed the woman in the chest with a kitchen knife. She died at the scene from the injury.

      An investigator from the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region has initiated a criminal case under the article "murder." The suspect has been detained, and a decision is being made regarding the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention.

      Currently, investigative actions are being conducted, examinations have been appointed, and all circumstances of the incident are being established.
