In Kirov, preparations for the competition "Let's Decorate the Motherland with Flowers" are in full swing.
Every year, participants receive seeds of flowering plants, which allows them not only to beautify their territories but also to contribute to improving the ecological situation. This week, representatives of the Union of Gardeners of Russia visited the CMA of the Southwest District, where they handed over flower seeds and held meetings with the chairpersons and activists of apartment buildings.
One of the key tasks of the competition is to engage the younger generation of Kirov residents in the greening process. Many children, planting flowers together with their parents, learn to work the land and love nature.
Oleg Valenchuk emphasizes that the movement "Let's Beautify Our Homeland with Flowers!" resonates deeply in the hearts of Kirov residents. "Flower beds are being renewed in yards, squares, parks, near schools and kindergartens. The number of people who care about the city is growing. Even one flower, grown with love and planted in the ground, can change the space," he says.
The competition "Let's Beautify Our Homeland with Flowers" not only contributes to the transformation of the urban environment but also provides residents of the Kirov region with the opportunity to showcase their talents in floriculture. This year, the prize fund of the competition amounts to 500,000 rubles. More detailed information about the competition can be found in the official group "Union of Gardeners - Kirov" on the social network VKontakte.
