      As reported at today's meeting by Governor Alexander Sokolov, President Vladimir Putin recently signed a decree on awards. Among those honored are residents of the Kirov region.

      Thus, for their contributions to strengthening the institution of family and raising children, the medal of the Order of "Family Glory" was awarded to Roman and Tatyana Teplov. For achievements in healthcare and many years of conscientious work, the Luka Krymsky medal was presented to Vasily Maltsev, the deputy chief physician of the Kirov Center for Cardiology and Neurology. For labor achievements and many years of conscientious work, Galiina Gogolova, the head of the Svechin district, was awarded a commendation from the president. Finally, a letter of gratitude from the president was announced to Alexey Konovalov, the deputy head of the department for preventing corruption and other offenses in the governor's administration and government.
