      In the Kirov region, the operational results of emergency services were summarized for the period from 06:00 on April 5 to 06:00 on April 6. During this time, four man-made fires, two road traffic accidents, and several other emergency situations were recorded.

      One of the most notable responses occurred in the village of Ganino, the regional center. A private bathhouse caught fire there — the flames managed to engulf 15 square meters. The preliminary cause cited by the Ministry of Emergency Situations is a malfunction of the heating stove. Ten personnel and three units of equipment, including municipal fire service teams, were working at the scene.

      Another serious fire occurred in the Urzhum district, in the village of Bolshoy Roy. There, the fire completely destroyed a passenger car. According to preliminary data, the ignition was provoked by a malfunction of the vehicle itself. Five specialists and two units of equipment from the regional fire service and municipal units were dispatched to extinguish the fire.

      In addition to the fires, two traffic accidents and several other unspecified emergency situations occurred within the day. The agency reminds that the main causes of spring fires are malfunctions of heating equipment and technical failures in vehicles. Residents of Kirov are urged to pay closer attention to the condition of heating devices and to regularly check the electrical wiring of their cars.
