With this result, the region ranked 59th among all subjects of the Russian Federation. The region's share in the total volume of housing commissioned in the country was 0.6%.
Overall, in Russia in 2025, 108.1 million square meters of housing were commissioned — 0.4% more than the previous year. Per capita, the average in the country was 0.74 square meters. Thus, the Kirov region is below the national average.
The leaders in housing commissioning per capita were Leningrad Oblast (2.05 sq. m per person), Tyumen Oblast (1.8), and the Altai Republic (1.7). The outsiders were Magadan Oblast (0.118 sq. m per person), Murmansk Oblast (0.149), and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (0.234).
