Recently, the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, and other members of the government met with representatives of the Kirov administration and deputies of the Kirov City Duma from "United Russia" and the LDPR. They discussed the draft concession agreement concerning the "Vodokanal" and water supply networks in the regional center.
Sokolov noted that he would not approve the concession project under these conditions. The head of the region called it unacceptable for local residents and the interests of the region. The governor instructed the government and administration to continue working on attracting investments in the housing and utilities sector, but to do so under adequate conditions.
