Almost 4,000 disabled individuals received assistance at the GZhD train stations.
In January-February, specialized assistance at the train stations was provided to more than 3,800 passengers with limited mobility, which is 8% more than in the same period of 2025. The highest number of requests for such services came from guests at the train stations in Nizhny Novgorod (827), Kirov (687), Kazan (342), Izhevsk (301), and Kazan-Voskresenie (235).
Specialists meet passengers, help with travel documents, accompany them around the station, and assist with boarding the train. If necessary, they provide a wheelchair or stretcher for bedridden patients and help with luggage. The services are free of charge.
The Mobility Assistance Center of JSC "Russian Railways" operates around the clock. Requests for accompaniment and assistance can be submitted on the website or by phone at 8 (800) 775-00-00. This must be done no later than one day before the trip, but no earlier than three days.
