      In the Kirov region, control over the circulation of livestock products will be strengthened. This was reported by the press service of the regional government. According to the veterinary department, in 2025 specialists conducted nearly 6,000 studies on the quality and safety of dairy, meat, and fish products. The number of violations decreased by almost a third compared to 2023, with remarks arising only for 16 types of products. The Rospotrebnadzor reported that over the year, more than 70 inspections were conducted, resulting in the identification of violations and the compilation of 75 administrative protocols. In addition, Rosstandart conducted over 200 inspections — checking stores, markets, gas stations, and other facilities. Despite the decrease in the number of violations, the authorities decided to strengthen control over the quality of livestock products, as well as over goods with mandatory labeling.
