Borissova stood up for SONKO.

      Today, at the meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, the activities of socially oriented non-profit organizations (SONCO) were discussed. Deputy Olga Borisova shared that she visited the government website and saw only eight SONCO in the registry of support recipients.

      "Either this is a mistake, or it's a shortcoming," she said. "In other regions, this list is much larger." The deputy added that representatives of SONCO have repeatedly complained about the difficulties in getting into the registry. To do this, one must overcome a number of barriers, one of which is working for at least one year.

      Borisova was told that, in fact, there are more support recipients than indicated on the website. She expressed the opinion that the region should strengthen support for such organizations and remove the requirement regarding the year of operation. The government promised to consider this.
