The family of the deceased participant of the special military operation has been awarded compensation through the court.

      According to the supervisory authority, the appeal was made by the elderly parents and minor children of the deceased. The man died while performing combat tasks and was posthumously awarded the medal "For Courage." However, when the family applied to the social protection authorities, their request for payment was denied. The reason was legal uncertainty: the deceased was a volunteer and had not yet signed a contract with the military department. The prosecutor's office intervened in the situation and filed a lawsuit demanding that the relatives be recognized as entitled to receive social support. The courts of first and appellate instances supported the position of the supervisory authority. As a result, the family was granted a one-time payment of 1 million rubles. The execution of the court's decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
