The Ministry of Digital Development has denied rumors about "white lists" in home internet.
The agency stated that such measures are not planned, and the information spread on social media and in the media does not correspond to reality. As explained by the ministry, the "white list" mechanism is applied exclusively during temporary restrictions on mobile internet, which are introduced in certain regions for security reasons — for example, in the event of threats from drone attacks. In such cases, limiting mobile communication helps reduce the accuracy of drone targeting. At the same time, even in conditions of mobile internet shutdown, users still have access to essential services and websites included in a special list. This list is formed in collaboration with security agencies, and one of the conditions for inclusion is the placement of servers on the territory of Russia. The Ministry of Digital Development emphasized that such restrictions do not affect wired internet. Home networks are not used to control drones, so there is no need to disconnect them.
