Sokolov proposed expanding Moskovskaya.

      Today at a government meeting Governor Alexander Sokolov said that over the past two weeks the region has received many complaints about public amenities, roads, public transport and stray dogs. As for road maintenance, there were complaints regarding Orlov, Oparino, Sovetsk and Murashi. Kirov and Kirovo-Chepetsk showed a large increase in complaints. Sokolov noted that he is criticizing Kirovo-Chepetsk for the first time since the appointment of its new head, Igor Gagarinov.

      There were also complaints about traffic disruptions in Kirov. Head of administration Vyacheslav Simakov noted that contractors are trying, but they are hindered by traffic jams. Sokolov ordered that these be addressed, including by involving the State Traffic Inspectorate and artificial intelligence. He also said that local authorities should consider widening the roadway on Moskovskaya Street. In his opinion, that would be better than constructing various bypass routes around it.
