At today’s government meeting, Governor Alexander Sokolov spoke about a recent trip to Belarus. Among other things, Kirov officials met with President Alexander Lukashenko. Sokolov noted that they “had a good talk.”
“Natalya Mikhailovna is smiling. I remember that her right hand hurt a little. The president’s handshake is firm. The president approached Yuri Igorevich and promised that everything would be fine for him in life. He somehow took a liking to him,” the governor added, likely referring to Minister of Economic Development Natalya Kryazheva and Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Tereshkov.
