Bankruptcy trustee: "All the property of the Sovetsky Meat Processing Plant has been sold."

      The bankruptcy trustee confirmed to Newsler.ru that the assets of the Sovetsky Meat Plant, including buildings, equipment and other assets, were sold through electronic auctions in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Law "On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)." Only accounts receivable remain on the company's balance sheet.

      "The Sovetsky Meat Plant cannot be sold because it is in bankruptcy," he said. He also noted that the assets were sold in several lots and were purchased by several buyers.

      According to him, the information about the sale of the plant on a classifieds website, where a "lot" priced at 300 million rubles was listed, is not true. The bankruptcy trustee does not have information about who posted the ad or on what grounds.

      Recall that earlier a classifieds website featured an offer to sell the Sovetsky Meat Plant. At the plant itself they said that "the advertisement was posted in error, and they are investigating." According to Fedresurs.ru, the company has been in bankruptcy proceedings since 2017, and the liquidation phase of the bankruptcy proceedings began in 2023.
