After the listing appeared Newsler.ru called the plant, where, when asked about the sale, they replied tersely: "This is a mistake. We're looking into it." Interestingly, both the seller and the plant's director have the same name — Dmitry.
The "fake Dmitry" on the site is selling, along with the Sovetsky Meat Processing Plant, fertilizers and thermal coal, though not from Sovetsk, and not even from Kirov, but from China and Indonesia.
An hour later the listing page had the plant videos and product cards showcasing the types of products produced removed. The seller himself, despite being "online," does not answer phone calls or messages.
According to Rusprofile, the Sovetsky Meat Processing Plant is in the process of bankruptcy. According to Fedresurs.ru, it began in 2017. By a ruling of the Arbitration Court of the Kirov Region dated 23.10.2020 in case No. A28-11879/2017 in respect of LLC "Sovetsky Meat Processing Plant" (613340, Kirov Region, Sovetsky District, Sovetsk, 2 Stroiteley St.; INN 4330005910, OGRN 1074330000029) observation was introduced. The temporary manager appointed is Mikhail Anatolyevich Perevoshchikov. In 2023 the company entered the competitive stage of bankruptcy proceedings.
The arbitration registry lists 199 arbitration cases concerning the meat plant totaling about 229 million rubles, with the company appearing as defendant in 127 closed cases. The main categories of disputes are non-performance of obligations and energy supply issues. At present 7 cases are pending. There are also 923 closed enforcement proceedings, mainly relating to recoveries and fines. As of November 10, 2025 the company has tax arrears of about 68.8 million rubles. Thirty-four inspections were carried out against the organization, with violations found in 17 cases.
Since February 15, 2016 Kirill Solodilov is listed as the sole founder.
Interestingly, as early as October 2024 the temporary manager attempted to recover 8 million rubles in damages from the former director and former founder Vladimir Kolpakov; however, the appellate court in October 2025 denied the claim.
