Rahim Azimov helped a veteran of the Special Military Operation purchase a car.
On January 25, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin visited a veterans' hospital in Saint Petersburg and held a meeting with servicemen undergoing treatment. He emphasized the importance of communicating with the fighters and the opportunity to learn about problems and needs that arise both at the front and during treatment and rehabilitation.
As part of the event, a specially equipped vehicle was presented to Vitaly Nazimov, a cadet of the St. Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and a veteran of the special military operation, purchased thanks to the support of State Duma deputy and member of the Public Council under the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Rakhim Azimov.
In August 2023, while a cadet at the Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Vitaly Nazimov took an academic leave, signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and went to the area of the special military operation. While serving as a combat medic-scout, Vitaly saved many lives. Despite being wounded three times, he returned to duty after each recovery.
While carrying out a mission to stabilize and evacuate wounded fighters in the area of the town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Vitaly suffered severe injuries. Doctors fought for his life for three weeks and were able to save it. Now Vitaly is actively involved in patriotic work and supports wounded fighters.
Rakhim Azimov:
"Supporting participants and veterans of the special military operation is our priority task. Vitaly Nazimov is an example of courage on the front line and of an active civic stance in peacetime. At the request of the leadership of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, we helped to procure a specially equipped vehicle for him. The vehicle was presented during the meeting with servicemen held by Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin — this underscores the importance of the patriotic work that Vitaly is carrying out today."
