      According to the government procurement website, an auction was announced in the summer of the year before last to find a contractor to repair the Plotniki — Vozhgaly — Bogorodskoye — Uni highway in the Bogorodsky district. The length is 8.85 kilometers. Work was planned to begin in May and be completed by October 2025. The firm Volgadorstroy (Tatarstan) won, offering to carry out the repairs for 126 million rubles instead of 131 million (that was the starting price). However, the contract with it was terminated.

      Recently the authorities decided to try again with this road. Only this time the lot was split into several parts. The Road Committee of Kirov Oblast is currently selecting a contractor to put the first section, 2.75 kilometers long, in order. The starting price is 67.51 million rubles; the funds were allocated from the regional budget. The commission is working.

      It should be noted that under the contract both the client and the contractor must organize control over the progress of the work. The warranty period is 8 years for the top layer of the pavement, 1 year for thermoplastic markings and 1 year for paint markings. The completion date is the end of August 2026.
