Over the holidays, surgeons at the regional hospital performed more than 80 operations.

      The Kirov Regional Clinical Hospital summed up its work over the holiday period. During this time, 363 patients were treated as inpatients. In Kirov, Vyatskiye Polyany, Omutninsk, Slobodskoy and Sovetsk, 643 hemofiltration procedures were performed. The hospital’s surgeons carried out more than 80 operations.

      The emergency department received more than 220 people brought in by ambulance for evaluation of vascular diseases. One hundred and forty of them were hospitalized in the emergency cardiology and neurology departments of the regional vascular center. In total, the center’s specialists provided care to more than 100 patients with acute cardiovascular diseases. Forty-nine were diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction. Thirty-one patients were hospitalized with acute cerebrovascular events, mostly ischemic strokes.
