Forward Kamil Shiafotdinov has been brought in to help Olympia solve this task. The player's contract runs until the end of the season. He has already recorded one assist in the match against Tyumen's Rubin, which the Chepetsk team won 3–2 in a shootout.

      The end of December and the beginning of January were not the most successful for Olympia in terms of points and goals scored, reports sports journalist Anton Pogudin on his Telegram channel. Home losses of 0–3 to Zauralye and 1–2 to Omskie Krylya, and a similar score in the away game against Buran, where the author of the only goal was Dmitry Kandakov, another hockey player who joined Olympia during the current season.       After the game in Tambov, Olympia returns to Kirovo-Chepetsk, where it will play a series of four consecutive home games against Barnaul’s Dynamo-Altai, Novokuznetsk’s Metallurg, Krasnoyarsk’s Sokol and HC Norilsk.
