Kirov Oblast's budget was increased by 1.5 billion.

      According to the Gorky Railway, in 2025 the total amount of tax payments and insurance contributions transferred to the consolidated budgets of the regions where the railway operates and to the social fund amounted to 21.1 billion rubles.

      In particular, more than 1.5 billion rubles in tax payments were received by the budget of Kirov Oblast. The largest amount of deductions went to Nizhny Novgorod Oblast — 14.9 billion rubles, including insurance contributions. In the Republic of Tatarstan the amount of payments totaled 1.7 billion rubles, in the Udmurt Republic — 1 billion rubles, in Vladimir Oblast — 948 million rubles.

      Tax and insurance contributions were also directed to the budgets of the Chuvash Republic (398.5 million rubles), Sverdlovsk Oblast (324.4 million rubles), the Republic of Bashkortostan (125.8 million rubles) and the Republic of Mari El (72.4 million rubles).

      The Gorky Railway noted that the line, including enterprises of the Russian Railways holding within the railway’s boundaries, is a major taxpayer and makes mandatory payments to regional and local budgets as well as to the social fund.
