Four fires occurred in the region in the past 24 hours.

      On January 14, four fires occurred in the Kirov Region, the regional office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) reported.

      One of the fires was reported earlier. In Slobodskoy, on Derysheva Street, an auto service building caught fire. The fire affected an area of 96 square meters. Seventeen people fought the fire, and four units of equipment were used. EMERCOM believes the fire was caused by the careless handling of fire by an unknown person.

      In the Kirov settlement of Sannikovy, a private residential house burned over an area of 15 square meters. Twenty-six people worked at the scene, and eight units of equipment were involved. According to experts, the cause was problems with the stove.

      For the same reason, in Afanasyevo on Yunosti Street a private garage caught fire. The fire covered an area of 1.5 square meters. Six people fought the fire, and two units of equipment were used.
