Nearly 20 tons of 'clean' pears were brought into Kirov Oblast.

On January 14, 2026, specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor supervised the import into the Kirov Region of a large consignment of fresh pears. The fruit arrived in the region via Moscow, and Turkey was indicated as the country of origin. This was reported by the press service of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor office.

On site, agency employees together with laboratory specialists checked all accompanying documents and took samples of the products. As a result of the inspection, no violations were identified; no quarantine pests or harmful organisms were found in the pears.

A quarantine control certificate was issued for the entire consignment, allowing the products to be used as intended. This shipment was the first consignment of fruit imported into the Kirov Region since the start of 2026.
