Fake medics are going door-to-door in Kirovo-Chepetsk with "miracle drugs".
In Kirovo-Chepetsk, cases have been reported of scammers going door to door posing as medical service workers. They offer residents "miracle drugs" or special remedies supposedly to protect against an epidemic of cold-related illnesses.
This was reported in the VKontakte group "Administration of Kirovo-Chepetsk." The administration reminded residents that genuine medicines are sold only in pharmacies, and only a doctor is authorized to prescribe them.
In addition, employees of medical institutions do not go door to door to sell medications. Residents are asked not to give in to pressure, intimidation or overly "good-to-be-true" offers, and to warn their relatives, especially the elderly, about the danger.
