The price per square meter of housing has risen in Kirov Oblast.
New average market values for housing for the first quarter of 2026 were approved in Kirov Oblast. The corresponding order was signed by the Ministry of Construction of Russia.
According to the document, the average cost of one square meter of housing in Kirov Oblast amounted to 95,260 rubles. Compared with the fourth quarter of 2025, the figure rose — it had previously been 93,915 rubles.
Across the country, the benchmark cost of one square meter for the first half of 2026 was set at 116,427 rubles, which is noticeably higher than the Kirov figures. In the Volga Federal District, Kirov Oblast was among the regions with an average housing cost below the national level, lagging, in particular, behind Tatarstan, Perm Krai and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
The highest housing prices in Russia were recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (265,000 rubles per square meter) and in Moscow (more than 201,000 rubles). The most affordable real estate is in Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia, where the cost per square meter does not exceed 60,000 rubles.
