The regional operator summed up the results of its work during the New Year holidays.
From December 31 to January 11 the regional operator received 71 inquiries. Residents sent 48 questions via the social network VKontakte. The remaining 23 inquiries were received through the Regional Control Center and the Gosuslugi portal.
Weather conditions, namely heavy snowfall, hindered access to container sites and driveways. To ensure uninterrupted service during the daytime, additional special machinery operated along the routes. In some cases removal was impeded by factors such as parked cars (24 cases) and driveways not cleared of snow (68 cases).
The regional operator’s press service noted that all identified delays were short-term and did not exceed the maximum allowable interruption period for the provision of the service. Interaction was organized with local authorities, territorial administrations and management companies on clearing access roads to container sites. After access was restored, waste removal was carried out in full.
In total, about 8,500 tonnes were removed during the New Year holidays, more than 4,300 tonnes in Kirov and more than 4,100 in the region.
