From December 31 to January 11, 2,413 people in the Kirov region received medical care. 2,213 patients were treated on an outpatient basis, and 200 were treated as inpatients.
11 people sustained injuries due to icy conditions; 3 had to be hospitalized. The most common injuries were fractures of the ankles, the bones of the lower leg, the clavicle and the radius.
14 people were injured while sliding down hills, including on sleds, inflatable tubes and snowboards. 9 of them were children. One person was injured due to careless handling of firecrackers.
7 residents of the region were admitted to hospital with frostbite. In road traffic accidents, 42 people were injured, 17 were hospitalized.
