Amateur meteorologists warn residents of Kirov Oblast about a sharp cold snap. According to the EPS ensemble calculations, between January 22 and 27 the region is expected to experience abnormally cold weather.
Air temperatures will be 10–12 degrees below the climatic norm. Note that the climatic norm for the mean monthly temperature in January for Kirov Oblast is −11.5°C.
