During the New Year's holidays, more than 25,000 kilometers of roads were cleared in Kirov Oblast.

      From December 31 to January 11, more than 25,000 kilometers of federal, regional and local roads were treated. According to the government of the Kirov Region, specialists monitored weather conditions and the condition of the road surface daily.

      During the holidays, roads were cleared of snow, treated with anti-icing materials, and bridges and overpasses were cleared to ensure safe traffic flow.

      To carry out the work during snowfall, up to 376 units of special equipment were deployed on the roads. A total of more than 19,400 tons of sand-and-salt mixture were used during this period. A dispatch service coordinated the operations, responding promptly to changes in the weather and to residents' requests.
