Kirov residents said what they plan to change in their lives in 2026.
In the new year, residents of Kirov intend to take their health and family seriously. The main priorities for 2026 named by Kirov residents are exercising and paying attention to loved ones — 30% of respondents plan each of these.
Another 28% of respondents intend to improve their personal life. One in four city residents plan to spend more time on hobbies or education. Changing one’s worldview, revising their diet, or even moving is a goal for 19% of Kirov residents. Eighteen percent promise themselves to rest more, 17% to finish renovations, and 16% to learn a foreign language. Thirteen percent are ready to give up bad habits, and 7% to change their social circle. At the same time, only a few are completely satisfied with their lives and do not want to change anything: among women such people account for 2%, among men — 7%.
Women are noticeably more likely than men to plan to take up sports, self-education, hobbies, and to reassess their outlook on life. Men, meanwhile, are more focused on changes in their personal lives and more often consider giving up bad habits.
Age also affects priorities. Young people under 35 lead in the desire to exercise (39%), study (32%) and learn foreign languages (23%). Kirov residents aged 35 to 45 are more likely than others to want to pay more attention to loved ones (38%), improve their personal life (34%) and rest more (28%). Among city residents over 45, popular plans are to take up hobbies (30%), carry out renovations (22%) and give up bad habits (20%).
Notably, those with secondary vocational education more often choose sports, hobbies and education, whereas Kirov residents with higher education more often think about studying foreign languages and resting. Among respondents with incomes of 150,000 rubles or more there are more who plan to pay attention to family and learn to relax, while residents earning up to 80,000 rubles more often speak of a desire to change their worldview and learn a foreign language.
