A mephedrone dealer was found in Kirovskie Soski.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Leninsky District of the city of Kirov supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against a 33-year-old local resident. The court found him guilty of the illegal acquisition and possession of narcotic drugs in a large amount.
As established during the proceedings, the crime was committed on the afternoon of April 16, 2025. The defendant, who was a drug user, arranged to purchase the prohibited substances over the internet. After that, at house No. 6 in the village of Soski in the city of Kirov, he retrieved the drugs from a dead drop.
The man had mephedrone, hashish and an ephedrone derivative with a total weight of more than 7 grams. He had consumed part of what he had purchased; the rest he kept until his arrest. The narcotics were discovered and seized by police officers.
The court agreed with the public prosecutor’s position and revoked the suspended sentence previously imposed on the man for a fraud conviction. He was ultimately sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment to be served in a general-regime penal colony.
