Last year, 60 people died on the roads of Kirov Oblast due to speeding. 647 people were injured in road accidents. This was reported by representatives of the regional traffic police.
Most such accidents occurred in Kirov. They are followed by Kilmezsky, Verkhnekamsky and Sovetsky districts. The traffic police believe that one of the causes of such accidents is disregard for safety rules and drivers overestimating their abilities.
