Nearly a third of Kirov residents hope to climb the career ladder in the new year.
According to the survey, 29% of employed Kirov residents expect a promotion within the next year. At the same time, men are more confident about career advancement than women: 32% of men expect a promotion compared with 26% of Kirov women. The youth proved to be the most ambitious. Among workers under 35, 38% expect a promotion. In the 35–44 age group, 31% expect career growth, while 7% of respondents have recently received a promotion. Expectations are much more modest among the older generation: among employees over 45, only 18% expect a promotion. Notably, those with higher education are more likely to hope for a promotion — 31% versus 25% among those with secondary vocational education.
