      Former regional head Nikita Belykh spoke about the results of the traditional New Year campaign, during which more than 800 sweet gifts were distributed this year to residents of Kirov Oblast. According to Belykh, boxes of treats were sent to various districts of the region — from Vyatskopolyansky to Belokholunitsky and Yurinsky.

      As the former governor noted, this year there was a noticeable increase in requests from large families and low-income families, as well as from veterans' and community organizations. At the same time, residential care institutions were not overlooked — gifts were delivered to them as a matter of course.

      Belykh offered special words of thanks to the volunteers who helped sort and pack the gifts, as well as to the donors who responded to the campaign and provided sweets, including for targeted aid.

      "I really hope the sweet gifts brought joy to everyone who received them," Belykh said, wishing residents of the region a happy Year of the Vyatka Fire Horse.
