It was established that on October 1, 2025, a man, while intoxicated, got behind the wheel of an Audi 100 and drove along the Vyatka federal highway in Orlovsky District. The offender was stopped by police officers and prevented from driving.
A check showed that the driver had previously been held administratively liable for driving a vehicle while intoxicated.
The court found the man guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced him to 120 hours of compulsory work and deprived him of the right to operate vehicles for two years.
In addition, at the request of the state prosecutor the court applied a criminal-law measure — confiscation of property. The convict's car was transferred to state ownership.
