Eco-farm near Kotel'nich caught fire: more than 20 animals died.
Today, January 7, at around 4:00 a.m. a fire broke out at the "Savkov Khutor" farmstead near the village of Tokaevy. When personnel from the Russian Emergency Ministry (EMERCOM) arrived on the scene, a wooden building used to house domestic animals was already burning with open flames. Flames covering an area of 50 square meters were extinguished, and the fire did not spread to other buildings. No people were injured in the fire; however, unfortunately, more than 20 goats and chickens, as well as several rabbits and quail, were killed. The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit in the wiring of the chicken coop. The damage is currently being assessed.
