More than 500,000 rubles were refunded to people with disabilities for inpatient care.

      An inspection was carried out after complaints from three pensioners made during a personal reception with the prosecutor while visiting the Nolinsky Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children in the village of Kyrchany. As the supervisory authority found, the applicants had lived in the institution for more than ten years and had been unlawfully charged higher fees for social services. The total overpayment exceeded 500,000 rubles. On the basis of the identified violations, the prosecutor filed lawsuits that were recognized as lawful and justified. As a result of the prosecutor’s intervention, the amounts withheld for the provision of social services to people with disabilities were changed, and previously assessed payments were recalculated.
