According to preliminary information, the accident occurred today at about 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 60-let Oktyabrya, Volodarskogo and Shkolnaya streets. A Kia Sorento and an ambulance collided; the ambulance was proceeding through a red traffic light with its lights and siren on. As a result of the crash, six people were injured: the driver and a passenger (a paramedic) of the ambulance, and four passengers of the Kia Sorento. An investigation into the incident is currently underway; the causes and circumstances of the accident are being established. Details are being clarified.
