As reported by the regional government, the main task is to ensure traffic safety on regional and intermunicipal roads.
Contractors will continue clearing snow, treating the carriageways with anti-icing materials and removing ice buildup. Work is being carried out according to an approved schedule; priority is given to high-traffic routes, approaches to settlements and socially important facilities.
"While you plan to enjoy the upcoming holidays, Ded Moroz will be delivering presents, and children will be guessing who will be the first to find gifts under the Christmas tree — Vyatavtodor will be working. Around the clock," the Kirov Region Ministry of Transport said, half in melancholy, half in pride.
Drivers are asked to take weather conditions into account, observe speed limits and maintain a safe distance.
