Two 17-year-olds from Kirov will face trial over "zakladki".
The Investigative Committee has completed the investigation of a criminal case against two 17‑year‑old teenagers from Kirov Oblast. They are accused of attempting to sell drugs in the city of Kirov and Kirov Oblast, the regional press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.
According to the investigation, in August 2025 one of the teenagers suggested to an acquaintance that they make money by selling prohibited substances online. He agreed, after which the young men began receiving information via the internet about the locations of wholesale batches of drugs.
The teenagers then set up stash sites ("dead drops") with drugs in Kirov and Kirov Oblast. The prohibited substances were stored in significant and large quantities.
The unlawful activity was uncovered by police officers. The teenagers were detained and the drugs were seized. In addition, during a personal search officers found substances on one of the accused that he had kept for himself.
Investigators collected evidence in several incidents of crimes related to the illegal circulation of drugs. The criminal case has been sent to court for substantive consideration.
