The regional operator will step up operations during the New Year's holidays.
During the New Year holidays, a significant increase in the volume of generated waste is traditionally observed. To ensure uninterrupted and high-quality collection of solid municipal waste, the regional operator is implementing a set of additional measures.
Additional units of specialized equipment will be deployed on the routes. The solid waste collection schedule has been adjusted to account for the increased volume of waste generation. And in low temperatures, to ensure operability, special vehicles will be housed in insulated enclosures.
Containers will be installed at locations of official festive events and gatherings to prevent littering of the area. Additional waste bins will also be placed at container sites where, statistically, a high intensity of waste generation is expected.
In addition, a hotline will be operating during the holiday period. Problems with waste collection can be reported by phone: (8332) 63-16-11. Contact center staff will, if necessary, provide advice on handling solid municipal waste or forward information to specialists for action.
The regional operator urges residents to act responsibly and use the provided containers for waste disposal. The cleanliness of our city during the holidays is the result of our joint effort.
