The ceremony was opened by Pavel Krasheninnikov, chairman of the Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation. Welcoming remarks were also given by Sergey Stepashin, chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, and Alexander Zhukov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma.
The exhibition details the history of the Association’s founding and development and its key projects. Particular attention is paid to prominent Russian lawyers, including recipients of the top legal award “Lawyer of the Year.”
“I congratulate everyone involved on the upcoming professional holiday and the Association’s anniversary! Such venues not only underscore lawyers’ contribution to strengthening the state’s legal system, but also serve as an incentive for young professionals who set a high professional standard,” Oleg Valenchuk said.
