Kirov residents send and receive about 2 million letters and parcels each month.

      Residents of Kirov Oblast actively use the services of Russian Post. Over the first 10 months of 2025 the region’s post offices processed more than 20 million letters and parcels, the regional branch of Russian Post reported.

      Letters remain the most popular. Some 19.5 million were processed: more than 11.7 million were ordinary letters and 7.8 million were registered and declared‑value letters. Moreover, the number of registered letters received is 1.5 times higher than the number sent.

      Parcels are second in popularity. Since the beginning of the year residents of the region have received and sent about 500,000 parcels, and they have been receiving them twice as often as sending them.

      EMS courier services are also in demand. From January to October 2025 residents of Kirov Oblast sent and received around 135,000 express shipments, including international ones.
